Mariola was willing to pioneer Medical Affairs work for the Takeda portfolio for a broad geographic region. She was perseverant and transparent in building the awareness for needs and established a foundation in support of a new oncology medicine and dared to challenge the teams with experiences related to different therapeutic areas whenever needed. Mariola has worked for the last 3 years at Takeda Pharmaceuticals International as Medical Director Oncology in my group Emerging Markets Medical Affairs. With her deep understanding in Oncology and huge experience in Drug Development, her excellent communication skills, creativity and open mind, we were able to successfully establish oncology medical affairs in our huge EM region with more than 25 countries involved. Furthermore she was a key success factor in supporting the numerous launches of Adcetris (Brentuximab vedotin) and Mepact (Mifarmutide) in many of our countries with successfully conducted and much recognized, scientifically sound medical affairs events and activities (eg. adboards, symposia, tutorials, KOL database, etc.). Mariola is a role model of motivation and engagement and it was truly a great pleasure for me to work with her.
